How do I know if my area is covered?+
Send us your address or a pin location on WhatsApp. We check it against the live network map and confirm whether your roof has line-of-sight to one of our towers. The check is free and takes a few minutes.
What's the difference between Rental and Fix & Supply?+
Rental (R1,250 once-off) keeps the equipment on HNE's books — lower upfront, easy to walk away from. Fix & Supply (R3,750 once-off) means the kit is yours from day one. Both options include your first month's subscription.
Is there a contract or lock-in period?+
No lock-in. Service is month-to-month — upgrade, downgrade or cancel any time with reasonable notice. We'd rather earn your stay than trap it.
How fast is the connection really?+
Speed depends on your package and signal quality at your location. Basic suits 1–3 devices for browsing and video calls; Prime and Prime+ comfortably handle HD/4K streaming and multiple users; Business is engineered for shops, offices and sites that need rock-solid uptime over raw peak speed.
What happens if my connection drops?+
WhatsApp the support line — most issues are resolved remotely the same day. If a technician needs to visit, we book a slot and show up. The network is monitored continuously, so we usually know about an outage before clients do.
Can I move my service to a new address?+
Yes — relocation is R350 if your new address is in a covered area. We'll uninstall, reinstall and realign. If the new address falls outside coverage, we'll let you know upfront before you commit to the move. Reconnection (after a pause) is R850.
What equipment do you use?+
HNE runs on Ubiquiti's airMAX line — Rocket Prism Gen2 for backhaul and Rocket M5 family CPEs for customer endpoints. PoE-managed switching in the field, monitored continuously from the operations side.
When is Zimbabwe launching?+
HNE Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd is currently in registration, licensing and partnership phase, with Harare as the first planned rollout area — covering Highfields, Chitungwiza and Glen View. We're not putting a date on it until towers are climbing, but you can pre-register your area on WhatsApp and we'll keep you informed.
